Plano Fire-Rescue Associates, Inc. is deeply committed to recognizing retired Plano Fire-Rescue firefighters. We do so by providing, free of charge to the retired firefighter, a personalized brick to be installed on the sidewalk outside of Plano Fire Station 1. 

The Higher Education Grant Program was founded in 2025 to benefit high-school dependents of current Plano Fire-Rescue (PFR) employees and retirees in-good-standing.. The amount of each grant varies depending upon available donated funds each year, and is a one-time grant per eligible student.
