In 2005 we began a new project called the "Station of the Month". Our objective is to focus on each of three shifts at all eleven of Plano's fire stations, as well as the Fire Administration office. This project is meant to call attention to each station within its neighborhood and to let each firefighter know that PFRA and the citizen's of Plano think they are special. Each month we highlight one of the ten stations by hanging an outdoor banner that proclaims this station to be our "Station of the Month".
New for 2008, with gracious support from local restaurants, we are delivering and serving a large lunch or dinner to each shift at each station each month. PFRA is extremely thankful to these wonderful sponsors of our 2008 SOTM activities:
